Macan facelift 2021 Updated Engine-

Porsche Macan facelift brings with it changes to the engines, with the standard Macan, S, and GTS now more powerful than before (the turbo has been discontinued). The entry-level Porsche Macan facelift keeps its 2.0-liter turbo-four, but with an increase from 245hp to 265hp, while the Macan S swaps out its 3.0-liter V6 for a 2.9-liter V6 that pushes 26hp more at 380hp. Is - same as the outgoing Macan GTS. Both also get a slight torque uplift and hence a reduction in their 0-100kph sprint times.

Meanwhile, the Macan GTS has tuned its 2.9-liter V6 to nearly matching the older Macan Turbo's output of 440hp and 549Nm. Porsche says that it can accelerate from 0-100kph in 4.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 272kph.

As before, the GTS focuses on dynamic performance, so it gets torque vectoring, 10mm suspension drop, and stiffer air springs at each end for faster turn-in response and better stability.

The updated Macan receives subtle styling changes throughout the line-up, including a redesigned front grille, a revised rear diffuser, new standard-fit LED headlights, and larger 19-21-inch wheels (seven of the new designs). available).

The Porsche Macan facelift GTS variant follows the Porsche tradition by getting an array of black trim elements and a bespoke rear diffuser.

However, the visual refresh is most obvious, where a redesigned center console and control stack bring the Macan in line with its bigger brother, the Cayenne, and the new Panamera fastback.

The most obvious change is the removal of the physical buttons and switches running the length of the center console on both sides of the gear selector. They've been replaced by a touch-sensitive panel with illuminated haptic icons, which combined with a smaller gear selector make for a cleaner and less cluttered setup.

The 10.9-inch infotainment display remains in place and although there is no confirmation, it is expected to be upgraded to Porsche's sixth-generation infotainment software platform, while the Macan remains on sale in its current form.

Elsewhere, a host of new personalization options "significantly expand design freedom" for the SUV. In Porsche Macan facelift seat stitching can now be specified in a range of bright colors and the analog clock at the center of the dashboard, which was earlier included as part of the optional Sport Chrono package.
