BMW i8 2018 Overview-
According to BMW, the I8 is the first high-performance sports car with a compact vehicle economy - and with its air-fraudulent lines, it still looks fast sitting. I8 is a plug-in car that has an electric motor which proceeds with a two-speed transmission which runs front wheel. Behind the car, there is a 1.5 liter turbocharged inline 3-cylinder powerplant, which runs the rear wheels through a 6-speed automatic. Combined two energy sources can make i8 an all-wheel-drive vehicle. Like I3's stable partner, i8 uses the BMW's Lifdew architecture to provide a very low center of gravity and 50:50 weight distribution. In Idrio mode, the car can be operated completely in electric power, or hybrid mode, both gas and electric motor work together to provide optimum drive characteristics, front, rear or all-wheel drive.

The revolutionary design has been marked with a low stance of I8 that mixes well with a sharp crease with wide short slung bonnet. BMW's signature kidney-shaped grill is surrounded by headlamps for a long time. Side profiles get key character lines with thin glass work and auxiliary crease. A future design in rear lends personality to a sports car.

Entry through the butterfly door leads to the sporty cabin, which comes with low dashboard and low roof. Powering 1.5 liters of Hybrid sports car, three cylinder turbocharged engines produces 231 hp power and 320 nm torque. Together with the six speed auto gearbox, the power is directed to the rear axle and an electric motor in front 131 HP and 250 nm.
