Jeep Renegade Overview-

Jeep Renegade is a small compact SUV from the American SUV manufacturer and will bring it to India by the end of 2017. There will be both petrol and diesel engines in the new SUVs and the cost of the range of Rs. 18-25 for the launch should be fixed. New Jeep Renegade should be a popular car in India due to its heritage and design.

Jeep Renegade design-

Talking about the design, Jeep Renegade returns with the original Willie Jeep on his Jupiter with his slated grill and empty headlamp. The front bumper gets a hard skid plate down and on the separate mist lamp. On the back side, the old school design square continues with tail lamps, which looks like a fuel jelly box which was used to go to the Old World War 2 Jeep. Jeep Renegade is difficult to see 17-inch wheels and big tires, which help instance with a set of square-off wheel arches.

Jeep Renegade interior-

In the case of interior design, Jeep has given customers the option to customize Renegades in various different combinations. He said the standard car will get a black interior package with a touchscreen infotainment system. Jeep Renegade receives navigation as standard with apple carp and optional satellite radio services. Jeep Renegade will be available with only a 5-seater option and a giant boot that can easily swallow weekend items. The new Jeep Renegade also has a plastic roof panel which will be completely removable to give the car a more open top sense.

Jeep Renegade engine-

In engine terms, Jeep Renegade will bring it in India with 1.4-liter turbocharged motor and 1.6 liters or 2.0-liter Multijet engine. The 1.6-liter engine is the same engine available in the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. The new Jeep Renegade manual and an automatic option will come together. The manual gearbox will be a 6-speed unit while the automatic gearbox will be a 9-speed unit. Both will come with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options.

Jeep Renegade competitions-

On launch in India, Jeep Renegade will grow against cars like Hyundai Buyer (at the lower end of the price grade) and Hyundai Tucson. Jeep Renegade will move forward against the likes of the upcoming Audi Q2 and Volkswagen Tiguan, Ssangyong Tivoli. He said, if Renegade has more value than expected, then it will grow against the likes of Audi Q3, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and BMW X1.

Jeep Renegade launch date-

Jeep Renegade  is expected to launch in June 2019.

Jeep Renegade is starting from 10.00 lakh in the Indian market.
